1. About Magufy Burundi

Magufy Burundi is an online marketplace designed to connect buyers and sellers in Burundi.
Users can post listings, contact each other, and exchange information directly through our platform.

We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. Our role is to provide a platform for communication and connection.

2. Eligibility

To use Magufy Burundi, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian

  • Provide accurate, current information during registration

  • Use the platform for lawful purposes only

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules.

3. Account Registration

You can create an account using your email, Google, or Facebook login.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account.

4. Posting Listings

When posting on Magufy Burundi, you agree to:

Listings that violate our guidelines may be edited, hidden, or removed without notice.

5. Communication Between Users

You can contact other users via our internal messaging/chat feature.
You agree not to use this feature to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited offers

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others

  • Share false or fraudulent information

We may monitor or temporarily store messages for security and moderation purposes but do not read or sell your private messages.

6. Payments

Currently, all payments between users are handled offline via Lumicash or EcoCash.
Magufy Burundi is not responsible for any payment disputes, losses, or fraudulent transactions between users.
Always verify the identity of the person you’re dealing with before sending money.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Post illegal or offensive content

  • Impersonate another person or company

  • Attempt to hack, damage, or overload the platform

  • Use Magufy Burundi for scams or fraudulent purposes

Violations may result in suspension or permanent account removal.

8. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on magufy.com (logos, text, design, layout, etc.) are owned by Magufy Burundi unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute content without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Liability

Magufy Burundi is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no guarantees about the accuracy or reliability of listings, and we are not responsible for:

  • Damages resulting from transactions between users

  • Technical issues, downtime, or data loss

  • User-generated content or third-party actions

You use the site at your own risk.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.
